Dear Sullivan County Emergency Responder:

Catskill Harvest would like to invite you to participate in our new Emergency Responder Thank You Program.  This program entitles members of police, fire and ambulance crews to a 15% benefit on all Catskill Harvest merchandise.  We’d like to ask you, the recipient of this letter, to please pass along notification of this benefit to all of your members.

For those of you not familiar with Catskill Harvest, we are a gourmet market and garden center located in Liberty, NY, at Route 52 and Ferndale Loomis Road (two miles west of the Village of Liberty).  We believe in promoting good food, growing great gardens and putting our neighbors first.  By focusing on these three things, we’re doing our part to build a local, sustainable economy in Sullivan County.

As an Emergency Responder, you’re committed to making Sullivan County a better place to live, work and enjoy life.  So to show our appreciation for your willingness to put yourself in harm’s way for the rest of us, we hope that you’ll enjoy the benefits of the Emergency Responder Thank You Program.

What is the Emergency Responder Thank You Program?

Catskill Harvest will offer Emergency Responders a 15%-off benefit on all Catskill Harvest Gourmet Market and Garden Center merchandise.  This is a permanent 15% benefit that remains in effect for as long as you are involved with our community’s public safety efforts.

Our primary focus is Sullivan Country Emergency Responders, but Catskill Harvest will extend the benefit to Emergency Responders from anywhere.  Feel free to pass the word to your friends or family members visiting the area.

Does the 15% benefit apply to everything? Yes.  Catskill Harvest offers fresh produce, meats, cheeses and gourmet foods.  Much of it is organic, and we make special efforts to sell as many locally raised/produced products as possible. The 15% benefit also applies to fresh food that is prepared daily in the Catskill Harvest Kitchen, including homemade soups, chili, sandwiches, muffins, scones, cookies and breads.  And if you haven’t tried the Lemon-Drop Cookie, it’s worth the trip.

In the coming months, the Catskill Harvest Garden Center will come to life and feature trees, shrubs, annuals and the area’s best selection of perennials.  Plus, we carry soil amendments, outdoor furniture, statuary, wind chimes and more.

How do I secure the 15% benefit?

Catskill Harvest will extend the 15% benefit to all Emergency Responders and their family members who present an Emergency Responder identification card. Family members need only to present your identification card to receive the benefit.  The Emergency Responder Thank You Program is an exclusive benefit and cannot be combined with the Catskill Harvest Frequent Shopper Program.

Eat Good Food is a guiding principle at Catskill Harvest.  As the store owner, I personally work to ensure that area residents have the opportunity to do just that. This is just one of our newest efforts toward making it happen.  So, we look forward to seeing you and your family at Catskill Harvest to enjoy locally raised/produced products and to Eat Good Food.
